Connections for S-valve are the collar-type items. They are assembled on the outlet side of the S-valve unit in the “S” type or ROCK type valves. It’s basic function is connection between the S-valve and the flap (hinged) elbow of the back-end kit. They are used also as covers for the bearing rear unit of the S-valve. The connections belong to such parts which compose pipeline for concrete flow – from the S-valve to the pump-pipeline. The internal diameter of the connection is strictly related to the nominal diameter of the outlet of the S-valve.

Due to high operating pressure reached in the part of concrete-transfer inside the connection it is recommended to check the wear frequently. Within the series of connections applied in various machines there are items manufactured out of high grade cast steel, in twin wall version or as a hardened components.
