The agitator shafts are an essential element of the agitator system in the hopper of a concrete pump. In the structure of the whole agitator, the key part is the shaft, where the mixing blades are mounted: the driving part of the shaft that is connected to the hydraulic motor or transmission and the bearing part of the shaft, which is the bearing support for the entire agitator shaft drive system.
For agitator systems, where two same-volume hydraulic motors are used (Putzmeister, Everdigm, Junjin pumps), the same drive shafts are used on both sides of the agitator shaft. In case of a drive by means of a gear (most often a planetary gear or worm gear), the shaft on the drive side connects to the transmission via a spline connection or through a flexible coupling (LSB pump, Putzmeister pump – old series)
